Umfundi
Umfundi’s are officially initiated in the ANU spiritual way. These students are allowed greater access to core teaching and serve as apprentice to experienced priest/priestess. Umfundi are often called upon to assist in group ritual and in working with more novice members.
Those brought in and initiated as official students also receive the spiritual fortification of the ANU shrine itself and of all of the benevolent spirit entities that assist the life journey of the initiated members of the temple.
We require that all prospective Umfundi attend 3 classes in order to become acquainted with the school of study and path of learning of the ANU order. Classes are held once a month.
The ANU order does not purport the philosophy that an instructor teaches what to think but, instead, and more significantly, how to think. This requires a strong measure of self direction, self management, and self motivation towards a person becoming the knower and practiced participant in their own evolutionary process.
Individuals who are chosen to be Umfundi go through an initiation process that connects them with their primal cosmic guardians and introduces them to the mystery of the power of those accompanying guardians.
